"Growing up, I lived in Paris for a little bit, and I learned to eat like the French women. Food is like a delicacy. They have a little bit. You just eat until you’re full."

Brooklyn Decker Diet & History

Although supermodel Brooklyn Decker has an amazing body, that doesn’t stop her from feeling insecure about her looks. She recently confessed she’s always been self conscious about her body. The 23-year-old said that her insecurity issues began at an early age, when she felt her body was shapeless. At the beginning of her modeling career, she used to dream about having a curvier figure.

“People made fun of me and called me a boy,” she confessed. “I remember praying for boobs and a butt. Luckily, I grew into myself and got curves, but when I was first modeling, I wished for that boyish Gisele body again!”

Hanging around different models, Brooklyn went into a different phase. She wanted to be skinnier and started following all kind of detox diets that not only endangered her health, but resulted in weight gain, which was the opposite of her goal.

“I did juice fasts and crazy diets and ended up gaining weight,” she said. “My father did an intervention and got me to stop obsessing about everyone else and wrecking my body.”

These days, Brooklyn has changed her attitude about food and is focusing more on what is healthy rather than what is forbidden.

“Instead of worrying about what foods might have too much fat or sugar, think – Oh, I should eat these blueberries for the antioxidants.”

Jessica Stroup Diet & Exercise

As far as her diet is concerned, Jessica says she doesn’t eat red meat. She fills up on lean proteins and loves fish. Her current favorite is going out for sushi.

When she gets a chance to work out she tries different yoga exercises. Maybe she’s doing the Birkman Yoga class that fellow cast mate Shenae Grimes had been seen doing. You perform yoga exercises in a room that is heated at 105 degrees! She also tricks herself into thinking she’s not working out by going to the beach and playing around. Jessica admits she is also into the whole organic craze and tried to eat mainly organic.

Kourtney Kardashian Tips

1. Tailor exercise to your life: Fit fitness into your hectic schedule even if it’s just for a few minutes. Since Kourtney is on breastfeeding duty every two hours, she schedules exercising around Mason’s feeding schedule. “I can jog right outside the house for 30 minutes,” she tells Life & Style, “and save the time it takes to drive to the gym.” See more of Kourtney’s tips when you read more.

2. Use the buddy system: To stay motivated, “Kourtney jogs with Khloé on the beach in Miami and takes classes with Kim when in LA.” Working out with a buddy is often more fun, and you can challenge each other to work harder.

3. Don’t stress over slumps: “A few weeks after I had Mason, my weight kind of stopped dropping,” Kourtney tells Life & Style. “It had been dropping, dropping, dropping, then for a good week or two, I was the same weight every day. I was like, ‘OK, I have to step it up.’” Her fix? Adding weight training to her regimen.

4. Allow small indulgences: Whether you want to reward yourself or not feel deprived, allow yourself treats now and again. Kourtney refuses to give up peanut butter M&M’s. “I can’t just deprive myself every day,” she says.

Michelle Trachtenberg on Diet & Exercise

She may only be 22 (give her metabolism a few more years), but Michelle Trachtenberg says she doesn’t diet. In fact, she doesn’t even work out.

“I love food, I hate working out,” the actress said. “I don’t get any of that endorphins and stuff that keeps people going. I went through a chicken fingers phase about a year ago…Chicken fingers, ranch dressing, MMM.”

When she does thow in a healthy meal, the actress says she usually eats sushi or a salad and tries to “take a multi-vitamin”.

And then there’s her favorite: “I love club sandwiches; The multi-layer, the cheddar cheese, and avocado.”

Aly Michalka Diet & Exercise

Aly finds time to exercise as a part of her everyday routine. She exercises 4 days/week. She alternates her routine between kick-boxing, mixed martial arts, some weights and cardio. Exercising on a daily basis is better than crash dieting or extreme exercising for Aly. Her favorite workout music includes music by Flo Rida, Britney Spears, MGMT, and M.I.A.

As for eating, Aly is all “about moderation and drinking lots of water.” She does enjoy to snack on on string cheese, edamame, and carrots w/ ranch.

Kaley Cuoco on workout routines & diet

Four times a week, as soon as she finishes on the set of her CBS sitcom, The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco jumps in her car and heads out to a stable to ride her horse, Falcon. “When I’m riding, I don’t think about work, relationships, or anything stressful; I’m just in the moment,” says Kaley, 22. “It’s the perfect combination of a mental and physical workout. After an hour, I’m exhausted. I work muscles I don’t use otherwise: My legs, butt, core everything is sore.” This California girl has a few other tricks for staying fit and focused, no jodhpurs necessary.

BALANCE YOUR WORKOUT ROUTINES “In addition to riding, I’ve always exercised at the gym. But a while ago, I was starting to get bored with my routine, so I tried Spinning and fell in love with it instantly. I go to class three times a week, without fail. I always get there early so I can sit in the front of the studio, and I’m ready to go as soon as the instructor comes in. Doing something I really enjoy has made a huge difference in my motivation level.”

SAVOR THE LITTLE THINGS “Diet cola is my absolute favorite drink in the world; I used to drink four cans a day. But to help me cut down, I’ve turned it into a treat. Now, instead of having dessert, I’ll have a can of diet soda. Putting a limit on how often I can drink it has helped me appreciate it more.”

JUST SAY YES TO HEALTHY FOODS – EVEN TAKEOUT “I’m a good eater and like to make my own meals. I start my day with granola, fresh fruit, and skim milk and end it with something healthy that also comes from my own kitchen. But right now I can’t get enough of the 6-inch vegetarian whole-wheat sandwich from Subway. I pick one up after my Spin class and pile jalapenos and onions on it to spice it up. It’s my default meal; I know exactly how many calories are in it 260 and I never have to think about what to order. Lunch: done!”

Demi Lovato on her diet

  • JJJ: What is your diet like? What kind of foods do you eat?
  • DL: I’m a really healthy eater! I should probably eat more because when you’re on the go, you just forget to eat. Every morning, I make sure I get my fruit in and I have a protein bar.
  • For lunch, I’ll eat a salad but sometimes I forget to eat dinner. (JJJ Note: Eat your dinner, kiddies!!!) Oh, and I eat lots of sweets!

Vanessa Hudgens Diet

There are reports that Vanessa does not really diet much as such. She enjoys chocolate, but obviously does not eat it to excess, although she does admit that she has a bit of an addiction for it. Venassa has been on the Zone Diet in the past. The Zone Diet focuses on providing a balanced diet, with the food groups controlled so that you receive 40% carbohydrate, 30% protein and 30% fat in all meals. It is all about making sure your hormones are in balance, which supposedly has a positive effect on the metabolism and weight management of young people.

Vanessa has also followed the Fat Flush Diet which a diet that aims to constantly detoxify and cleanse the body by ensuring that the right balance of healthy food is eaten. One of the key elements of the fat flush diet is that you avoid refined carbohydrates and sugar. Instead you consume more omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids as these help to metabolise fat. Olive oil is a great source of healthy fat that aids weight loss.
